Nike Air Max 2009 Flywire – Blue – Grey – Black | Sample ot http://weargood.com

Nike’s inter-species hybridizations have resulted in some interesting shoes over the years, and it doesn’t look like that experimentation is going to stop anytime soon. One of the more notable Air Max hybrids was the Nikeair max 2009 , which combined the upper of the Nike Air Max Plus (also considered as the ‘98 flagship model) with the full-length Air midsole of the Air Max 97. This new Sample takes the Air Max Plus 97 a bit further by applying a Flywire panel on the upper sidewall and adopting a more aggressive midsole, similar to the one seen on the made-for-baseball Nike Air Griffey Max GD II.

Seen on the heel is a “Mx2″ symbol in the style of the Tuned Air logo that was introduced on the original Air Max Plus. So what do you think of this “new” hybrid? Same formula, new ingredients. We can also expect another 98-infused hybrid in the Nike Air Max Modular 98 Si – but why not an actual retro of the air max 2009 /Plus? Check out the gallery of images after the jump and let us know what you think of this hybrid – or better yet, buy this pair from dballaholic on eBay.
