about nike dunk

About the nike dunk

In 1985, culture and sport crossed genres with an intensity never before witnessed and a new age of self-expression was born. Representing this movement was the nike dunk . It turned teams into tribes, individuals into movements, and the definition of a basketball shoe on its head. 22 years later, what was born on the hardwoods now lives among a global neighbourhood. The Dunk is a basketball shoe, a skate shoe, a vintage shoe, a piece of history, and a work of art. But above all the Dunk is a reminder of what happens when you’re true.

nike dunk LOW - WOMENS

Someone at Nike is really hooking the ladies up with this season’s line of women’s sneakers. Proof in the pudding is the new nike dunk Low with its pearly hot pink/marble charcoal colour way and extra gummy sole. It’s been a long time between drinks for the chicks to get such a consistent array of footwear to choose from, so let’s just hope the creativity continues to go from strength to strength.

nike dunk HI (WOMENS)

Nike continues their onslaught with the women’s Dunk Hi. This little ray of sunshine will definitely be a winner with those that like to keep it as bright as possible. With a splash of metallic silver in the Swoosh, these are bound to blind your bloke! Out next week...

Some ladies have frowned on the new Dunk with its slimmed down midsole and sleeker silhouette but on this version, the gathered satin upper and contrasting plum and pink suede makes this Dunkalicious! Sweet enough, without being too girly-girly...

nike dunk SB

Nike launched the Nike SB line in March of 2002 at the start of the rise of the Skateboarding trend. For years in California, the skate culture was very popular and skateboarding shoes and clothes were worn more as casual wear than by actual skateboarders

nike dunk HIGH

The materials found on this Dunk are usually reserved for the ACG line, resulting in a b’ball shoe that is breathable, waterproof and apparently windproof in a Jordanesque colorway. Not quite sure what all-terrain courts the designers have been playing on, but this tough fella will keep you dry and crisp come rain, sleet or snow. And in Beaverton you usually get all three for nine months of the year!
